THE STORY BEHIND OUR NAMEPINUS FLEXILIS
WHY LIMBER PINE?

Strong roots.
Flexible branches.

High in the mountains, limber pines grow where the ground is rocky and the weather is unforgiving. Their roots find a firm hold while their unusually flexible branches bend under wind and snow.

They endure by adapting without losing their foundation.

01 / THE IDEA

Not another curriculum vendor. A better way to deliver your own.

Explore the approach

The basic idea

You already approved the curriculum.
Why replace it just because a student is online?

Schools spend years selecting resources, aligning standards, refining pacing, and building teacher-created materials. When students need online instruction, that work should not disappear. We adapt the program you already believe in for effective digital delivery.

One system. More ways to learn.

Built for the way schools actually work.

The same digital course can support classroom instruction, continuity during absences, and a school-operated online option.

01 / EVERY DAY

Everyday
classroom use

Give teachers a consistent digital home for lessons, assignments, resources, assessments, and reinforcement—without forcing them into a new curriculum.

02 / WHEN LIFE HAPPENS

Instructional
continuity

A student who misses a day—or a month—can continue from home and return without being disconnected from the instructional sequence classmates are following.

03 / MORE OPPORTUNITY

Your own
online option

Keep students connected to your school, your teachers, your expectations, and your diploma instead of automatically sending them to an outside curriculum provider.

Built around what you already have

As much—or as little—help as you need.

There is no fixed package. We can digitize what your teachers already use, build complete courses, help implement a larger online program, or support the pieces in between.

01

Course Digitization

Turn existing lessons, teacher-created materials, assignments, pacing, and resources into organized online coursework.

02

Full Course Development

Start with standards, curriculum maps, approved resources, and expectations; finish with a student-ready online course.

03

LMS & SIS Guidance

We work with the systems your school already uses—or help you evaluate, set up, and connect systems if you're starting from scratch.

04

Curriculum & OER

Use approved curriculum and openly licensed resources where appropriate to create flexible content that can be maintained over time.

05

Teacher Training & PD

Asynchronous training resources can be paired with live virtual or on-site professional development when your staff needs it.

06

Ongoing Support

Need updates, course maintenance, new resources, or continuing implementation help? Support can continue under a defined service agreement.

Need more than documents and slides?

We can develop recorded lessons and instructional media, from straightforward teacher-led videos to more involved productions, with the level of support matched to your budget and goals.

How it works

Show us what you have.

You do not need to arrive with a finished plan. Start with the problem, the curriculum, and the systems you already use. We will help determine what is worth building.

Start with a conversation
01

Start with a conversation

Tell us what you are trying to accomplish, what already exists, and where the current approach is falling short.

02

Define the scope

We review the relevant curriculum, LMS, workflows, resources, staffing realities, and desired outcomes, then propose a practical path forward.

03

Build with your school

Course development and implementation are shaped around your standards, materials, teachers, systems, and desired level of involvement.

04

Launch, train, and hand off

Your staff receives a usable system and the training needed to operate it. Ongoing support is available when you want it—not assumed forever.

Why this approach

Keep control of the education you already built.

Like the tree behind our name, schools need a foundation that holds and the flexibility to respond when conditions change. Your teachers, curriculum, standards, and relationships are that foundation. We help extend what you already do well into digital learning—without replacing what makes your school yours.

01

Instruction stays yours.

Your school remains in control of curriculum, teachers, instructional expectations, student relationships, and the learning environment.

02

Families get another reason to stay.

A credible in-house online option can give students flexibility without automatically requiring them to leave your school for another provider.

03

You build capacity instead of dependency.

We help create systems your school can operate. Our job is not to make you permanently dependent on us.

04

The work fits the need.

One course or a broader secondary program. Existing materials or a ground-up build. A small specialized team means the scope can stay personal.

Small by design

Experienced educators. Direct access. No giant vendor apparatus.

Limber Pine Education is a specialized practice for schools that want thoughtful, practical help—not a prepackaged curriculum catalog.

A PARTNER, NOT A PRODUCT CATALOG.

Good online learning starts with understanding how your school already works.

We work with the curriculum, people, and systems you have—not an idealized version of them. The result should feel like your school, just more accessible.

BUILT WITH YOU. MADE TO LAST.
